Under new management. Park right outside your room door. Each room has its own character. Singles. Doubles. Two room suites. Call direct to inquire about daily, weekly and monthly rates. Travelers are always welcome.
The owner was very pleasant upon check-in. The room is dated but very clean. The bathtub has some stains on the bottom (but it is probably older than I am). Despite stains, everything in the bathroom was clean. I don't understand the reviewers who gave it a 1. It is clean and comfortable, but it is not a Hilton. If that is your standard, you will not like the Motel Grand. I would definitely stay here again.
It worked great for what we needed. Clean, easy access, comfortable beds. Could use a little updating and a coffee maker would have been great but the small fridge was a plus and the microwave came in handy. We will stay here again. The lady who runs the place is a jewel! She has been most accommodating both times we've stayed here! Thanks
What a great little place to stay! Had everything we needed but the best part of our stay was the fresh clean air! I have severe asthma and I truly appreciate the no smoking policy! The beds where comfortable and clean. I love that there was a separate bedroom for my teenager! I would absolutely stay here again! Thankyou so much!
A very nice older hotel. We stayed three nights. Firm mattresses. Clean with no antiseptic smell. As mentioned before, this is an older motel. Probably 50's or 60's construction. From my point of view it was fun to see the bathroom fixtures colors from the good old days! . Some of the reviews we read before getting our reservation were written by curmudgeons() who whined on about it a little. To each their own. A couple of months ago we were in Chadron and stayed at the newest hotel in town and enjoyed our stay but we enjoyed our stay here at the Motel Grand just as much. Saved some money too. The manager/check in was very friendly and helpful. I can find no reason not to come back again.
This is an older place, so don't expect the Carlton. However the rooms are clean and the bed was comfy, and the price is perfect. The on site manager "B", is on point! I needed some special accommodations and B called his boss to ask. I haven't met his boss yet, but I'm super grateful. If you're passing thru town, or staying longer you should definitely consider this place!
